Inking for the Festivity
Getting an amazing tattoo from one of the henna tattoo experts was worth the wait despite the heat and commotion of passersby in the side walk of downtown Cebu while the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Dakbayan brought the festive mood in the air, last Sunday, a week before the grandiose Sinulog Festival.
Despite the heat and uncomfortable tattooing session, I still managed to smile for the camera
Tata, who hails from Davao, and his business partner were also good at making conversations with their customers and made the "tattoo experience" boredom free.
... with Tata, the artist who came all the way from Davao to join the Sinulog festivities, and did this tattoo for me!
Now I'm thinking what my boss will say when I come to the office, Monday!

Checklist for 2012
I didn't want to mind about the Yellow President's non-declaration of January 2 as special holiday (at least to extend the celebration a bit!) until when I woke up on Monday morning feeling intoxicated though I didn't and never associated myself with any form of alcoholic concoction New Year's day. I wanted to give him an ovation for being such an inconsiderate head of the state. My mattresses seemed to drag me back to sleep while my pillows were like ear muffs as they try to block my ears from my brother whose bellows from downstairs were loud enough to remind me not to be late for the first day of work for the year.
Yeah right! I don't want to be late for work! I promised my boss not to hit the "late list" as I made a some-sort-of-serious comment on his message during the holidays. Yet, my head was still groggy as I hitch on the potpot on the way to the office.
This is year 2012, and here are the things I want to accomplish:
1. Keep my journal updated.
2. Finish three modules or more for the Deutsch Language Course I started last year.
3. No more chocolates (let's see how far can I go 'coz I just ate one last night)... and if cannot be avoided, no more than my 2x2 picture in my wallet.)
4. No more procrastination. In school, in the office, at home..(hmmm...)
5. Go to church, attend mass, serve the congregation.
6. Finish my master's degree. There is no turning back. This is it! Next stop, doctor's degree? We'll see.
7. Find a new love affair. (Conscience: Keep in mind you already decided to be single.)
8. Work on a new project, something that is not my forte.
9. Get more vacations and travels within the country. Target destinations: Siquijor, Batanes, Pagudpud and the Ilocandia, Caramoan and the Bicolandia, Camiguin.
10. Get a promotion.
11. Get that needed executive medical check-up.
12. Finish a marathon (or half-marathon).

Through the Lens: Radiating His Love
This post is the Image Version of "Radiating His Love".
There is always that HEART that is made an instrument to Radiate His Love to these fellows.
If the one nursing me is as beautiful and as nice as her, who would complain?
You'll find it amazing how one kid bites his Jollibee Chicken Joy, and savor its taste right to the bones.
There is that feeling that distinctly makes you smile from the heart.
Our classmate Glen, with his caring Ob-Gyne better half, Dr. Ruby Correa Facturan.
